The Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), signed into law on July 26, 1990, prohibits discrimination against people with disabilities. Join Miami-Dade County's ADA Office to celebrate the 32nd anniversary of the Americans with Disability Act from Monday, July 25 through Friday, July 29 in the lobby of the Stephen P. Clark Center located at 111 NW 1st Street in Downtown Miami.
Enjoy a special display featuring champions of the disability rights movement, disability culture and historical artifacts throughout the week; the display will be up 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily. Listen to special guest speakers and performances by artists with disabilities during your lunch break on Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday July 26-29. Come celebrate the diversity of all abilities at this free weeklong event.
