WASHINGTON, D.C.– Congressman Mario Díaz-Balart (FL-26), Chairman of the Subcommittee on the Department of State, Foreign Operations, and Related Programs of the House Committee on Appropriations, expressed his satisfaction with the recent passing of crucial security supplemental bills. Díaz-Balart emphasized the importance of these legislations, stating, "As Chairman of the subcommittee that provides funds for national security and foreign assistance priorities, I am very pleased the House passed these important pieces of legislation."

In his statement, Díaz-Balart highlighted the need for the United States to address national security threats posed by significant adversaries. He specifically mentioned communist China, Russia, and the terrorist State of Iran as dangerous entities that must be confronted. He noted that the passage of the national security legislation contributes to making America and its allies safer by denying resources to adversaries while fully supporting security commitments to nations like Israel, Ukraine, and Taiwan, facing existential challenges from anti-American regimes.

Moreover, Díaz-Balart underscored the bill's role in safeguarding the military personnel, ensuring that the United States does not entangle itself in conflicts. He concluded by stating, "When America leads with strength rather than appeasement of dangerous dictators, the world is a safer place."

These remarks come in the wake of the House's approval of the critical national security supplementals, reflecting Díaz-Balart's commitment to enhancing America's security measures and supporting allies facing threats from hostile regimes.
