On April 14, 2025, Díaz-Balart congratulated Ecuador's newly elected president. He expressed satisfaction with Ecuador's electoral choice, noting, "¡Enhorabuena al presidente @DanielNoboaOk! Hoy el pueblo del Ecuador ha rechazado a la extrema izquierda y la corrupción, eligiendo un camino de esperanza y progreso para el país. Later in the day, Díaz-Balart extended congratulations to another individual, Kevin, for his role in advancing national security interests and sustaining the U.S.-Panama alliance. He remarked, "Congratulations again, Kevin! I look forward to seeing you advance our national security interests and strengthen the critical U.S.-Panama alliance. ".

In another engagement, Díaz-Balart met with Leticia Ramos Herrería, a leader of the Damas de Blanco in Cárdenas, Matanzas, who opposes the Castro regime in Cuba. He noted the encounter by stating, "Ha sido un honor y un privilegio reunirme hoy con Leticia Ramos Herrería, líder de las Damas de Blanco en Cárdenas, Matanzas, y valiente opositora al régimen criminal Castrista. Leticia enfrenta con valentía y determinación a los esbirros represores del régimen, en defensa de".

The Damas de Blanco, founded over a decade ago, is a group advocating for human rights and democratic freedoms in Cuba.
