Frederica Wilson, currently serving in the U.S. Congress representing Florida’s 24th district, recently shared a series of celebratory messages on social media. Known for her longstanding service, Wilson transitioned to Congress in 2011, succeeding Kendrick Meek. Prior to this, she held positions in the Florida Senate and House of Representatives and has been a noted public figure in her community since birth in 1942 in Miami, Florida.

On April 12, 2025, Wilson extended her best wishes for Passover. In her tweet she wrote, "Wishing a joyful and meaningful Passover to everyone celebrating. As families gather to share the story of the Exodus, may we draw strength from the enduring resilience and spirit of the Jewish people. Chag Pesach Sameach!".

The following day, on April 13, 2025, Wilson conveyed her sentiments for Palm Sunday. Her message stated, "I want to wish you and your family a blessed Palm Sunday! May today bring joy and peace as this Holy Week begins."

Continuing her series of festive greetings, on April 14, 2025, Wilson posted about Vaisakhi, a festival celebrated by Sikhs and some Hindus. She remarked, "Happy Vaisakhi! Wishing all celebrating many blessings during this celebration of faith and new beginnings."

Frederica Wilson, aged 80 and a Fisk University alumna, has been a prominent representative in her district and continues to actively engage with her constituents and broader audience through such messages.
