H.R. 3599, known as the Dignity Act, is gaining significant support in the House of Representatives. This historic bipartisan immigration reform bill aims to address the flaws in our current immigration system and provide a dignified solution for undocumented immigrants living in the United States. Led by Representatives Salazar and Escobar, the Dignity Act has garnered the backing of 25 sponsors and co-sponsors, as well as more than 50 organizations across the country.

Representative Salazar emphasized the urgency of the Dignity Act, stating, "The Dignity Act is the only bipartisan immigration solution in Congress, and with record border crossings last month, both parties know that we must act now. Congress must fix our broken immigration system, and the Dignity Act is the solution to resolve all our immigration issues once and for all."

The sponsors and co-sponsors of the bill include representatives from various states, such as Florida, Texas, Michigan, Oregon, and New York, among others. These individuals recognize the importance of comprehensive immigration reform and are committed to finding a solution that benefits both the undocumented immigrants and the American workforce.

In addition to the support from representatives, the Dignity Act has also received positive endorsements from over 50 organizations nationwide. These organizations include the Coalition of Agricultural Workforce, the American Immigration Lawyers Association, the American Podiatric Medical Association, and the National Retail Federation, among many others. These organizations have provided statements of support and endorsements for the Dignity Act, recognizing its potential to address the challenges of our immigration system and contribute to the growth of our economy.

The wide-ranging support for the Dignity Act underscores the urgency and bipartisan nature of the need for immigration reform. With the backing of representatives and organizations from various sectors, this bill has the potential to bring about meaningful change and create a more just and equitable immigration system.

As the Dignity Act continues to gain traction and gather support, it remains to be seen how it will progress in Congress. However, the widespread endorsement of this bipartisan bill reflects a growing recognition of the need for comprehensive immigration reform and a commitment to finding a solution that upholds the values of dignity, fairness, and economic prosperity for all.
