Mario Díaz-Balart, a long-serving U.S. Congressman representing Florida's 26th District, recently shared a series of tweets covering a range of topics from diplomatic appointments to local engagements. Díaz-Balart, who began his congressional tenure in 2003 after serving in both the Florida House of Representatives and the Florida Senate, continues to maintain an active presence both online and in his district.

On April 9, 2025, Díaz-Balart congratulated fellow Floridian Ron Johnson on his confirmation as the U.S. Ambassador to Mexico. He emphasized President Donald Trump’s prioritization of national security interests by stating, "As many have learned the hard way, President @realDonaldTrump is putting U.S. national security interests first. The American people."

On the same day, he shared his enthusiasm from a recent meeting in Naples, Florida. Díaz-Balart commented on the positive discourse he had with constituents about national developments and mentioned discussions about "everyone’s favorite presidents."

Continuing his outreach efforts, on April 10, 2025, Díaz-Balart announced his appearance on Lucy Pereda’s program on @radiomambi710. He invited listeners to tune in to the show, noting, "¡No se lo pierda!"

In addition to his current congressional role, Díaz-Balart, aged 61, resides in Miami, Florida. Born in Fort Lauderdale in 1961, he holds a Bachelor's degree from the University of South Florida.
