On January 31, 2025, Rep. Wilson expressed her advocacy for increased compensation for educators and enhanced investment in public schools. She stated: "It’s long overdue that we give our teachers a raise and invest in our public schools—NOW!"
In another post dated February 1, 2025, she responded to a tragic event involving an aircraft accident in Philadelphia. Her message conveyed condolences and gratitude: "Truly heartbreaking to hear about the plane crash in Philadelphia tonight. My prayers are with the victims and their loved ones, and I’m deeply grateful to the first responders."
Later on February 1, 2025, Rep. Wilson highlighted the significance of Black history within American history as part of Black History Month celebrations. She remarked on the contributions of Black Americans throughout U.S. history: "Black history is American history, from Miami's founding...to the Civil Rights movement...this #BlackHistoryMonth, we celebrate Black Americans contributions to all facets of life."
